A sequence of open holes were drilled, with Standard Penetration Testing (SPT) conducted every 3 meters until reaching rock head. Upon encountering rock, drilling continued using the Geobore S coring method to ascertain the presence of competent rock, with a minimum of 3 meters required. Upon reaching the target depth, 50mm standpipes and piezometers were installed for gas and water monitoring purposes.
