GeoDrill's recent successful completion of test holes for our esteemed client, Imtech, on the HS2 Euston project is a testament to our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction.
The project involved the installation of three 45mm loops to a remarkable depth of over 250 meters below ground level. Two of these loops were installed conventionally to ground level for Thermal Response Testing (TRT). However, it was the third loop that showcased our innovative capabilities. We employed a special in-house developed method to place this loop a significant 8 meters below ground level.
Imtech had a specific design request for this unique installation. By placing the loop below the anticipated ground level, we enabled the ground level onsite to be reduced at speed without needing to be concerned about excavating around or protecting the pre-installed loops. This ingenious solution not only saved valuable time but also significantly reduced project costs.
